• Application : A Compressed Wood Pallet Making Machine is a specialized machine used to manufacture compressed wood pallets. These machines utilize hot pressing technology to create pallets from various raw materials such as waste wood, wood scrap, bamboo, straw, sawdust, and waste kraft paper that contain wood fiber.

The compressed wood pallet press machine is a piece of industrial equipment specialized in processing various hot-pressed wooden pallets. This hydraulic wooden pallet press machine can make sawdust and rice husks of various sizes into wood pallets with high density and hardness by heating and pressing. And by changing different molds, the wood pallet machine can produce wood pallets of different specifications, sizes, and shapes.

A compressed wood pallet, also known as a pressed wood pallet or molded wood pallet, is a type of pallet made from compressed wood fibers and other wood by-products. These pallets are created through an environmentally responsible process that involves molding damaged logs, wood waste, and other wood materials into new pallets

The main structure of a commercial wood pallet machine includes a frame, hydraulic device, mold, heat transfer cylinder (or boiler), etc. The mold of the machine can be replaced with different shapes, patterns, and sizes. The hydraulic device of the wood pallet machine is mainly to provide suitable pressure for wooden pallet forming.

Before compressing the sawdust, we usually preheat the compressed wood pallet press machine. We can use the steam generated by the boiler as the heat source of the wooden pallet machine or use the heat-conducting oil furnace to conduct heat conduction heating into the mold of the pallet machine.

Then, we evenly pour the sawdust into the mold of the machine and flatten it. After pressing the down switch, the upper mold of the machine will be pressed down, and after about 7 minutes, a wooden pallet will be made.

After the wooden pallet is made, we need to manually remove it from the mold, or set up an automatic discharge device near the discharge port of the machine.

Raw materials: waste wood, sawdust, wood chips, wood shavings, raw wood, burned wood, logs, wood board, tree branches, timber, wood planks, waste pallets and so on.

Other materials containing rich fiber also can be used for production of pressed wood pallet, such as straw (wheat/corn), waste paper, bamboo, palm trees, coconut fiber (coir), softwood, bagasse, miscanthus and so on.

The production of compressed wood pallets using the specialized compressed wood pallet machine involves a carefully orchestrated series of steps, each designed to transform the raw materials into a durable, consistent, and environmentally friendly final product. The typical production process includes the following stages:

1. Raw Material Preparation:
   • As discussed earlier, the raw materials, including wood waste, virgin wood, and alternative fibers, are processed using wood chipping, wood crushing, and drying equipment to create a fine-grained, homogeneous wood fiber or powder.
   • The binding agent, such as a synthetic resin or a natural adhesive, is also precisely measured and combined with the wood fibers using the glue mixing machine.
2. Compression and Molding:
   • The prepared wood fiber and binder mixture is then fed into the compression and molding mechanism of the compressed wood pallet machine.
   • This specialized equipment applies immense pressure, combined with heat, to the mixture, compacting and fusing the materials into the desired pallet shape and dimensions.
   • The mold temperature control system ensures that the compression and curing processes occur under optimal conditions, resulting in a high-quality, structurally sound compressed wood pallet.
3. Automated Handling and Finishing:
   • Depending on the level of automation within the production line, the compressed wood pallets may be automatically handled and processed through additional steps, such as stacking, packaging, or labeling.
   • These automated systems help to streamline the overall production process, reducing manual labor and ensuring a consistent, efficient, and high-quality final product.
4. Quality Inspection and Packaging:
   • Before the compressed wood pallets are ready for delivery, they undergo a thorough quality inspection to ensure they meet the specified standards for strength, dimensional accuracy, and overall performance.
   • The pallets are then carefully packaged, either individually or in sets, to protect them during transportation and storage, ensuring that they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.

Throughout the production process, the compressed wood pallet machine and its supporting equipment are designed to operate with a high degree of precision, consistency, and efficiency.
